Now that the Miss Universe Organization has officially confirmed that Miss Universe 2016 will be happening here in the Philippines, and contracts have been signed by all parties concerned, plus all these were capped off with a press launch last week, we can finally keep calm and be unabashedly excited over this milestone event (first time for our country to host this pageant with our queen as the reigning Miss Universe). Here’s a quick rundown of how the pageant preps are going:
Date and time: January 30, 2016, 5AM (this is primetime in the US), available on (delayed) telecast in all networks around 8-9AM
Venue: SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Places the candidates will be visiting for the pre-pageant festivities: Vigan, Ilocos Sur; Cebu, Baguio City, and Davao, and more places to be confirmed soon.
