Miss Cayman Islands 2016 – Monyque Brooks
(CNS): Miss Cayman Islands, Monyque Roshel Brooks, has begun mixing and mingling with her competition as the preparations for the Miss World 2016 final gets underway in Washington DC. Brooks (25) is one of more than 120 women competing for the international beauty pageant crown in the US capital. Over the next three weeks, ahead of the 18 December finale, Miss Cayman will compete in various rounds, wearing dozens of different outfits as well as doing interviews with the judges to whittle the field down for the televised final.
On Monday Brooks competed in the talent round and was one of 67 dancers from the 91 competitors to take part in the non-compulsory contest, which could earn her valuable points. Fans can also help Brooks get to the finals by voting for her in the People’s Choice Award via the official Miss World App available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
