Catherine Carmichael wins Miss Kansas USA 2017!!!!

Catherine Carmichael defeated 22 other contestants to bag the title of Miss Kansas USA 2017. Grand Finale of Miss Kansas USA 2017 took place on Sunday,November the 27th at Kansas Star Event Center • Mulvane, Kansas. Catherine was crowned by the outgoing Miss Kansas USA, Victoria Wiggins. Catherine Carmichael  will now represent Kansas at Miss USA 2017 pageant next year.

At the same event, Miss Greater Lawrence, Taylor Schettler was crowned as first runner-up. Miss South Overland Park, Rachel Morris was declared as the second runner-up.  Alyssa Klinzing, Miss Lenexa bagged the third runner-up crown and the fourth runner-up title went to Miss Greater Wichita, Cassie Lohmeyer. Malerie Moore bagged the Miss Teen Kansas USA 2017 crown. Malerie will now represent Kansas at the Miss Teen USA 2017 pageant next year.

Catherine hails from Manhattan,Kansas. She represented Kansas at Miss World America 2015, currently she is a recruiting director for University of Kansas  football team.
