After the reigning Miss Kenya Roshanara Ebrahims was dethroned in July for what was termed as breach of code of conduct, her fate was sealed and she was immediately replaced.
In a statement released to media houses by Terry Mungai the Miss World Kenya franchise holder, the company relieved the beauty queen of her title which is currently under Evelyn Njambi who was the 1^st runner up.
Evelyn will be battling it out with over 110 contestants from other countries in the US where the finals shall be taking place. The 66^th edition of the pageant will take place at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in Maryland. The reigning Miss Kenya is currently in the US participating in the competition buildup which kicked off on the 26^th with the grand finale set for December 18^th.
