First look at PH-made gowns for Miss Universe candidates
MANILA – Veteran designer Albert Andrada provided a first look at the gowns which the Miss Universe candidates will wear on Monday night.
The gowns, which were all made by Filipino designers, follow the colors of the Philippine flag.
“Super ganda. I am so happy that it turned out like this. Lahat sumunod sa colors, sumunod sa guidelines and I am so happy and proud of these Filipinos designers,” Andrada told ABS-CBN News’ Mario Dumaual.

The 86 delegates from all over the world will wear the gowns at the Miss Universe fashion showcase on Monday night.
“Ang ganda-ganda, natutuwa ako. We have designers from Bacolod, Iloilo, Mindanao, Cagayan de Oro. I am so happy,” Andrada said.
