Miss Universe Malta 2017 - Unique way of unveiling the finalists

All the nations are gearing up to select their representatives for the international pageants scheduled for 2017. Amidst all the national pageants, Miss Universe Malta is also here with its 2017 edition and is scheduled to be held on 4th August 2017. 

 

Miss Universe Malta is an annual national beauty pageant that selects representatives for the Miss Universe pageant. Established in the year 2016, the Miss Universe Malta pageant is organised by Glow Promotions. Before the Miss Universe Malta pageant, the representatives for Miss Universe were selected from the Miss Malta pageant.

The organisation hasn’t revealed the contestants yet, but it is following a unique way of giving an insight to the contestants. The Miss Universe Malta Organisation on its official Facebook page has unveiled the childhood pictures of the 2017 contestants. This is something very unique and which has never been done by any pageant as to our recollection.

 

 

 

 

 

The pictures are so beautiful, and adorable. Keeping the pattern same in a monochrome frame, every picture is revealed with a quote which is probably being followed by the contestants themselves. 

 

Alan J. Darmanin and Jeff Francalanza from Glow Promotions are the ones handling the selection for the delegates of Miss Universe Malta. This year the pageant is going to be a memorable one to remember. On March 30’ 2016, the franchise of Miss Universe was taken away from the Miss Malta Organisation, and in April 2016 Alan J. Darmanin and Jeff Francalanza from Glow Promotions took the Miss Universe license to send Maltese representatives to the international pageant.

The contestants have already started their events and activities as part of their Preliminary Competition. Malta has never had any placement at the Miss Universe pageant, let alone winning the crown. Will this year bring a placement for the country? Only time will tell!!
