As we already told you about the possibility of Philippines hosting the Miss Universe pageant again this year, what can also be noted is that the magnificent finale of Miss Universe 2017 might be held in the month of November. The secretary of Department of Tourism (DOT), Wanda Teo said that the Miss Universe organization presented Philippines the hosting rights for the next instalment of the Miss Universe pageant happening in November. But no official validation has been released over the matter yet.

If the tentative date gets confirmed then the contestants won’t have much time to prepare themselves for the mega finale. Also, the countries need to speed up their selection of representative for the Miss Universe pageant.

 

 

 

 

According to Wanda Teo, the Miss Universe organization presented Philippines the hosting rights for the next installment of the Miss Universe pageant happening in November. But no official validation has been released over the matter yet. Philippines has hosted the Miss Universe pageant for three years now, and if everything goes well this might as well be the fourth year for the country. 

 

Well, it’s going to be a waiting game till the organisation confirms anything officially. Miss Universe in an annual international beauty pageant, It is part of the prestigious Big Four pageants along with the Miss World, Miss Earth and Miss International. The pageant is run by the Miss Universe Organisation. The pageant was founded in the year 1952; it started as a local "bathing beauty" competition organized by Catalina Swimwear in Long Beach, California. Donald Trump acquired the pageant in the year 1996 after the pageant had gained popularity among various pageant lovers.
