Miss America 2017, Savvy Janine Shields, will be in Louisville this weekend as the special guest of the Miss Kentucky Outstanding Teen Pageant.
Shields is a 21-year-old Arkansas native who was crowned Miss America this past September in Atlantic City. She has been invited to participate in the luncheon, part of the pageant hosted by the Miss Kentucky Scholarship Organization.
The “Meet Miss America Luncheon” will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 26 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, 311 S. 4th Street. The public is invited to attend the luncheon, meet Miss America 2017 and participate in the autograph and photo opportunities.

Individual tickets are $35 or you can get two tickets for $60.
Savvy is the National Goodwill Ambassador for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and is currently a senior at the University of Arkansas, where she’s majoring in art with minor in business.
