Will there be Binibining Pilipinas 2017 shake-up?

MANILA, Philippines — A pageant enthusiast page on Tuesday hinted a shake-up on the recently concluded Binibining Pilipinas 2017 pageant.
In its Facebook page, The Philippine Pageantry posted a photo with the text: “Expect a shake-up that will break your hearts. It broke ours.” It included the hashtag #BinibiningPilipinas2017.
The Facebook post sparked several speculations on the dethronement or a possible switching of titles due to a passport or citizenship issue.
The Philippine Pageantry, which described its page as a “source of news and features for our local and national pageantry winners, including foreign winners with Filipino lineage,” however, refused to comment on the issue.
“We will refrain from making further comment until BPCI makes an announcement,” the page commented.
The Binibining Pilipinas Charities Incorporated has not made any announcement on the issue as of posting.
On Sunday, Binibining Pilipinas held its grand coronation night where Rachel Peters won the Miss Universe Philippines 2017 title. Here’s the complete list of winners:
