Utah woman follows in mother's footsteps, competes for Miss USA title

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) Baylee Jensen, Miss Utah USA 2017, will be representing the Beehive state and competing for the title of Miss USA next month. 
 

Winning pageants is a family affair. Baylee's mom Gretchen was previously crowned Miss USA. You may remember Gretchen as a former host of Good Things Utah. 
 

Baylee is the first daughter in Miss USA and Miss America history of a former national title holder to compete.

 

Miss USA 2017 will be the 66th Miss USA pageant. It will be held on May 14, 2017 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
