The First Indian Woman To Drive Formula E Racing Car Is A Bollywood Actress
It is ‘The Dimple Beauty’ Gul Panag, she is Bollywood actress, model, voice actress and a former beauty queen as she competed in the Miss Universe pageant. Gul Panag started her career in 2003 with a debut movie ‘Dhoop’. Since then she started working in many of the movies and TV series as well. Her notable movies are Dor, Straight, Ab Tak Chhappan 2, Dhoop.
She played a commoner, fighting hard to save her husband from going to the gallows, in the 2006 Nagesh Kukunoor film, Dor. In 2008, Gul Panag acted in the films Hello and summer 2007. In 2009, Gul Panag appeared in the movie Straight. She featured in Rann in a role attempting to stop her boyfriend from doing the right thing. Panag appeared on the front page of Maxim with whom she did a photo shoot in September 2008. She debuted in Punjabi movies with Sarsa. Panag was the Aam Aadmi Party candidate from Chandigarh for 2014 Lok Sabha Elections.
Gul Panag is much passionate about automobiles, She loves to be behind the wheels and the adrenaline rush that comes along with it. Guess what? This Bollywood actress is the first Indian woman to drive Formula E Racing car in Spain.
Panag drove Mahindra Racing’s brand new M4Electro at the Circuit de Calafat in Catalonia. She had to train in advance before hitting the track.
