Their photos together in Thailand and South Korea have piqued the interest of fans.
And now, former "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate Richard Juan has decided to set the record straight on rumors that he is dating Miss Universe Thailand 2016 Chalita Suansane.
"We're just really good friends!" he told Pep in an interview.
Rumors about their supposed romance first began after Juan posted a photo of him in Bangkok with Suansane, whom he first met during the recent Miss Universe pageant, saying his trip was "definitely worth it" after bumping into the beauty queen.
The two were again spotted in South Korea two months later, this time touring with Miss Universe Korea 2016 Jenny Kim.
"We're really close, we're really good friends na parang we talk once in a while, ganoon," he said. "So we got to know each other."
"It was nice hanging out with her," he added.
