Pia to host Binibining Pilipinas 2017 grand coronation night

MANILA, Philippines — Two years after she was crowned the Binibining Pilipinas-Universe, Pia Wurtzbach is set to return as a host of the prestigious national pageant.
The Miss Universe 2015 will host the Grand Coronation Night of the Binibining Pilipinas 2017 slated Sunday, April 30, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
This was announced by Wurtzbach’s pageant mentor and Philippine manager, Jonas Gaffud.
Reports said Wurtzbach will host with actress-host KC Concepcion. KC, however, clarified in a social media post that although she wanted to return as the pageant's host, she is not one of the hosts this year.
I've read in the news that I'd be hosting “Bb Pilipinas” but I'm sorry to announce that I will NOT be pageant host this year.
I'm sure it will be a great run! I wish all aspiring queens the very BEST for the competition!
This is the first time Wurtzbach will be hosting Binibining Pilipinas.
Last January, she had a hosting stint at the pre-pageant national costume show of Miss Universe 2016 held at the Mall of Asia Arena.
