Achintya Nilsen wins Miss World Indonesia 2017!!! She represented Nusa Tenggara Barat province defeated 33 other contestants to bag the title of Miss World Indonesia 2017. The 13th edition of Miss World Indonesia took place on April 22nd in Jakarta where Natasha Manuella Miss World Indonesia 2016 and second runner-up at Miss World 2016 crowned Achinty Nilsen as her successor. Stephanie Del Valle, the reigning Miss World from Puerto Rico alongside Julia Morley CEO of Miss World Organization were the special guest for this year’s event. Achintya will now represent Indonesia at the 67th edition of Miss World pageant in China later this year.

Indonesia has never won the Miss World crown highest placement for the country was in 2015 and 2016 when MARIA HARFANTI and NATASHA MANUELLA bagged the second runner-up crown. Indonesia has won four beauty with the purpose award (2011, 2014, 2015 &2016) at the Miss World pageant highest by any country. Indonesia hosted the Miss World 2013 pageant where Megan Young of the Philippines won.
