Former Miss Universe Is The First DSW Style Ambassador
Former Miss Universe, Olivia Culpo, is serving as DSW’s (Designer Shoe Warehouse) very first Style Ambassador. While most of us on the planet of pageantry refer to her as “Queen,” she’s been busy since her reign in pageantry ended.
About Olivia Culpo
Olivia competed in Miss Rhode Island USA as her very first pageant and took home the crown. After winning, she represented the great state of Rhode Island at the 2012 Miss USA pageant and won the Miss USA crown. During her year as Miss Universe 2012, Culpo traveled all over the planet. From modeling jobs to appearances, this queen seemingly never stopped. Because she was an amazing titleholder by any standard, pageant girls everywhere were sad to see her crown her successor.
Since her reign, Culpo has been extraordinarily busy. She’s transitioned to acting and modeling while becoming a style icon for many. Earlier this year, Culpo partnered with Marchesa to design a dress for the 2017 Oscars. The former queen logs all her amazing outfits, foods, events and just general lifestyle on her Instagram page. She has approximately 1.7 million followers and counting! With such a large following, it makes sense that DSW would select Culpo as its first style ambassador.
Culpo’s New Role
In her new role as style ambassador, Culpo will select a monthly collection for the company. This month she’s selected an Adidas sneaker, a bootie, a heeled sandal and more. In addition to her monthly collections, Culpo will do appearances, make videos and send email blasts for the company.
