TWO stunning Moldovan models have been crowned the world’s most beautiful women in the 2016 Miss Humanity Universe beauty pageant.

Brunette beauty Viorela Dimici was the overall winner while her best friend Adela Prisacari was named the most photogenic woman on the planet.

Viorela, 24, from the town of Vadul lui Voda came first place in the contest, which was held in the Lebanese capital city of Beirut and featured contestants from 23 different countries.

She was representing neighbouring Romania in the competition after winning the title of Miss Humanity Romania earlier this year.

Her friend Adela, from Chisinau was representing Moldova and was named Miss Photogenic Humanity in the same contest.

Viorela celebrated her win with her hundreds of adoring fans on Facebook.

She posted: “Honoured to bring Moldova a trophy so valuable.

“Your support made my victory at ‘Miss Humanity Universe 2016’ come true. Thank you for believing in me!”

Adela has left her job in PR to pursue modelling full-time and has participated in several beauty pageants

Viorela was representing the neighbouring country of Romania

Viorela is currently studying for a Masters degree in economics at the University of European Studies and has been working in marketing and PR in Moldova.

Adela is also a former PR manager, but now appears to have dedicated her life to beauty pageants full-time, boasting titles including Miss Bikini Universe Moldova in Shenzhen China and Miss Tourism Universe.

Miss World 2016 has also kicked off, with a new winner being crowned on December 18.

The contest is the ultimate pageant, with one beauty queen from each country fighting for the crown.

The final will be held in Maryland, USA, and will feature four UK contestants, from Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales and will be available to watch on the Miss World Official YouTube channel.
