Miss Guyane, Alicia Aylies crowned Miss France 2017
18 years old and a first year-law student from Guyane, Alicia Aylies, has been crowned Miss France 2017. The annual gala was held at the Montpellier exhibition centre. Miss Aylies succeded Miss France 2016 Iris Mittenaere and was crowned by Iris. She bested 29 other regional winners to win the national final contest.
Miss Languedoc-Roussillon was adjudged as 1st runner-up, Miss Tahiti as 2nd runner up, Miss Guadeloupe came fourth and Miss Lorraine came fifth in the contest.
