Charity donation could become VIP passes to Miss Universe 2016

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach on Friday sent a special invite to pageant fans, offering a chance to walk the red carpet at the pageant and the opportunity to wear the coveted crown for a few moments.
In a video posted on Instagram, Wurtzbach announced the details of a contest in partnership with Omaze. A $10 donation for Cordaid gives fans a chance to score VIP tickets to the Miss Universe 2016 show on January 30, 2017. The winners will also join the candidates onstage during dress rehearsal and Wurtzbach herself will put the Miss Universe crown on their head.

Flights and hotel accommodations are included.
The proceeds from the contest will benefit Cordaid, a project by Omaze that empower women and girls in 22 developing countries through education, business and entrepreneurial efforts, and health programs, among others.
