WA's Caris Tiivel crowned Miss Universe Australia
West Australian Caris Tiivel has been crowned Miss Universe Australia at a special event in Melbourne.
Tiivel was one of several WA hopefuls, including Olivia Donaldson, Rebecca Mountford, Ebony Walton, Olivia Stanley, Meagan Smith and Carmen Parra.
“The most competition I feel is from within the WA team because they’re all so gorgeous and they’re not only beautiful but really nice people as well,” Donaldson, 22, told AAA ahead of the event.
“I think team WA is definitely the strongest for sure,” Walton added.
Ahead of the pageant’s finale at the Sofitel Melbourne, the women enlisted’s designer to the stars Steph Audino to create bespoke gowns worthy of the final chapter of their Miss Universe Australia journey.
