Job description:
Berlitz is seeking interpreters for a unique opportunity, the chance to be an official interpreter for the Miss Universe pageant in January 2018!
Interpreters will assist pageant contestants, judges, and administrative staff in conducting interviews and logistics support. Berlitz management will be on-site with the team to support each interpreter.
The tentative schedule is 10 days in January. Interpreters will be paid a full day each for 2 days of travel, 1 day of team-building and training, and 7 days of an estimated 8 hours of availability for interpretation work. The exact date and location of the pageant have not been set yet.
Berlitz is seeking interpreters who meet the following criteria:
-Native speaker of both English and the target language
-Comfortable with the possibility of interpreting live on TV for the final round of the competition
-Available for at least 10 days in January of 2018
-Able to leave and return to the US
-Excited for the chance to meet celebrities and enjoy an exciting experience
