WATCH: Pia’s first week as Miss Universe
Pia Wurtzbach shared her experiences when she officially began her Miss Universe reign in the first days of January 2016.
Queen P, as how her fellow Filipinos fondly call her, shared how overwhelmed she had been with the media interviews she had to attend to during her first week of reign in a video uploaded by the Miss Universe Organization on Facebook, January 29, 2016.
“Wow, I’ve never done so many interviews before. Some of them were a bit serious, and some of them were a bit light. I did some interviews in English, and some interviews in Tagalog as well, so it was a good mix.”
She specifically mentioned her interview with Bustle wherein she guessed different romantic comedy movies using only emojis as her clues. “That was fun”, she said.
“Although I’m used to doing interviews and being in front of the camera, this is different now because this is a whole new level– this is Miss Universe”, Wurtzbach said.
It can be recalled how the 26-year-old beauty still managed to balance work and fun as she was adjusting to the New York City life.
