Miss Chinese International
It was a clear-cut winner for the judges at the 2016 Miss Chinese International, as Ms Jennifer Ling Coosemans was crowned the winner over stiff competition from 13 other contestants on Saturday night (Jan 23) at TVB City in Tseung Kwan O, Hong Kong.
According to reports online, the 21-year-old half-Chinese and half-Belgian college student from Vancouver is well-versed in five languages and dialects such as Cantonese, French and Shanghainese, and is a current law student. She has a degree in Chemistry from University of Northern British Columbia.
And that's not all - she also plays the piano and the trombone. The 1.7m-tall beauty also showed off her athletic ability with her cheerleading moves, which she executed during the talent segment of the pageant.
Coosemans is the seventh Miss Chinese International from British Columbia.
