Miss Universe visits wounded soldiers at AFP Medical Center

For Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, Wednesday is another day of giving her heart to her countrymen. The advocacy-driven Wurtzbach, accompanied by Bb. Pilipinas chair Stella Araneta, paid a visit to wounded soldiers at the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Medical Center in Quezon City.

Wurtzbach was welcomed by AFP Medical Center head Col. Joseph Acosta, AFP vice chief Lt. Gen. Edgar Fallorina, and other officials. During the visit, the doctors and staff presented her with a patch, a name plate, and a Philippine flag.

The beauty queen was photographed making the injured troopers in Heroes Ward 3A smile and laugh, charming them with her trademark humor and candidness.

After this visit, Wurtzbach is also set to meet with patients living with HIV.
