WATCH: Pia Wurtzbach sings Drake’s ‘Hotline Bling’
Little did we know, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach is a Drake fan.
Thanks to the short Twitter Q&A through the hashtag #AskMissUniverse, fans got to know more about the 26-year-old beauty queen as Wurtzbach answered randomly selected questions through the Miss Universe account which ran from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Thursday (January 28, 2016).
Answering the question of Twitter user Kaye Manuel “What’s your favorite Drake song?”, the Filipina-German bared her wonderful voice and replied with a 26-second video clip of herself singing Drake’s Hotline Bling – and she knows all the words!
However, the reigning Miss Universe’s version of Drake’s song had a perfect twist. She proudly exclaimed towards the end “The crown is for the Philippines!”
#AskMissUniverse managed to top the Philippines’ Trends on Thursday as her fans continued to drop questions for the beauty queen in hopes of being noticed. Lucky users even got the chance to have their questions answered in more than 140 characters through a short video personally recorded by the Miss Universe.
