Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach will visit battle casualties at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center in Quezon City on Wednesday.
In a media advisory, the AFP Public Affairs Office said that the beauty queen will visit wounded soldiers of Heroes Ward 3A.
AFP chief Gen. Hernando Iriberri will host Wurtzbach’s visit.
Wurtzbach is the third Filipina to win the prestigious title after 42 years. Gloria Diaz bagged the crown in 1969 while Margarita Moran was the second one in 1973.
A grand homecoming parade was held in her honor on Monday in the cities of Manila and Makati. She capped off her parade around Araneta Center in Quezon City.
Wurtzbach met with President Benigno Aquino III on a courtesy call Tuesday morning. CDG
