Former Miss Washington USA Stormy Keffeler and professional soccer player Marco Pappa gave police conflicting stories after the ex-Seattle Sounder suffered a stab wound in his apartment in December, according to a newly released police report.

Officers responding to the apartment of former Seattle Sounder Marco Pappa late last year found a bloody knife in the kitchen and a trail of blood that led to the bathroom, where there was more spattered blood and stab marks on the wall, according to Seattle police.
Pappa had a three-inch vertical stab wound in his abdomen and was taken to Harborview Medical Center, where he was rushed into surgery, police wrote in a newly released report of the incident.
Pappa and his then-girlfriend Stormy Keffeler — the only two people in the apartment — said they didn’t know how Pappa had been stabbed and offered conflicting accounts of the incident.
The report into the Dec. 17 incident was released by police on Friday in response to a public-disclosure request by The Seattle Times. No arrests have been made in connection with the incident and no charges have been filed.

Keffeler, 23, who was crowned Miss Washington USA in October, resigned her title earlier this month after it was revealed that she had failed to disclose a drunken-driving conviction before the pageant.
Pappa, a Guatemalan international player, was traded from the Sounders to the Colorado Rapids in December.
According to the police report, officers were dispatched to the apartment in the 100 block of Westlake Avenue North around 2:42 a.m. after Keffeler, 24, called 911 and reported that her boyfriend had been injured.
The report indicated that Keffeler initially told dispatchers, “I’ve had an accident at my boyfriend’s apartment,” and then said she didn’t know what had happened.
Responding officers said that when Keffeler opened the door she appeared “shocked and intoxicated.” She initially said Pappa had just shown up at the apartment with the wound, the report says.
Police said that Pappa came to the door, holding his left side with a bloody hand. He was treated by medics and taken to the hospital. He did not speak with officers at the apartment, the report says.
Keffeler was wearing a T-shirt and sweatpants and had a small amount of blood on her shirt and hands, but did not show signs of having been in a struggle, police wrote in the report.
Keffeler then told officers that she and Pappa had been walking home from a bar when Pappa was “bumped” by an unknown person. They said they didn’t notice the stab wound until they arrived at the apartment.
When police asked her where they had been walking, Keffeler refused to answer, police said. The officers said there was no sign of blood outside the apartment, in the elevator or in the lobby.
Pappa was interviewed at the hospital by a Spanish-speaking officer, who wrote in his report that Pappa appeared intoxicated but was cooperative with hospital staff.
Pappa “gave me several different stories of what occurred,” the officer wrote.
First, he said he had been at The Pink Door, went outside, “felt some pain” and later discovered the stab wound, the report says
When asked who stabbed him, Pappa could not give a suspect description, according to the report. Later, Pappa said he had been at the restaurant with his girlfriend and that they then went to Kells Irish Restaurant & Pub.
After they left Kells, Pappa said he gave money to a homeless person, but then said the homeless person — whom he could not describe — was not the person who stabbed him, according to the report.
Pappa told the officer that he had been drinking and could not remember anything that happened, but he repeatedly denied that Keffeler had stabbed him. He reportedly told the officer it was “impossible for her to do something like that,” the officer wrote.
According to the report, there were no fingerprints on the bloody kitchen knife recovered from the apartment. Both declined to speak further about the incident with police.
No arrests have been made.
When reached by phone on Friday, Keffeler said she could not say anything about what happened.
After resigning her Miss Washington title, the former “lingerie league” football player told ABC News, “I am a changed person.”
The Rapids, Pappa’s new team, issued a statement after the incident in his apartment was brought to light: “We are aware of the situation and have notified Major League Soccer. We have spoken with the player and will cooperate with the League on their evaluation of this matter.”
