The country's new Miss England 2016 was crowned on Thursday night.
Miss Preston, Elizabeth Grant, was crowned the winner at the Southport Theatre and Convention Centre in Southport.
The 6ft student, aged 20, will now go on to compete in this year's Miss World contest.
Miss Preston, who takes the crown from her predecessor Natasha Hennings, will now enjoy an all-expenses paid trip to the Miss World 2016 final held in Washington DC from November 29 until December 21, with the chance to win a $100,000 first prize and the coveted Miss World Crown.
