Miss Universe contestants arrive in Las Vegas as they vie for most beautiful woman title
DOZENS of the most beautiful women in the world arrived in Las Vegas today as they begin their quest to win the Miss Universe crown.

The 81 women along with their tiaras, lipstick and hair steamrollers descended onto the American city for the renowned beauty pageant.
The stunning women, all dressed up in beautiful gowns, posed for photographs on the steps of a hotel in Las Vegas.
Last year’s winner, Colombia’s Paulina Vega, was at the centre of the celebrations.

Miss Vega is only the second woman from Colombia to win the crown in the competition's 63 year history.
Her success has led to street celebration in the South American country and a national holiday was even created in her honour.
Britain's entry is Narissara Nena France, a British-Thai model from London.

According to her profile on the Miss Universe website, the 25-year-old model is "someone who you can put into any situation and she will deal with it with grace.”
She also claims to understand differences in culture and traditions thanks to being brought up with parents from both Britain and Thailand.
And one of her facts is that she can sleep almost anywhere and has even fallen asleep standing in the London Underground.
The winner of this year's Miss Universe contest will be crowned in Las Vegas on December 20.
