Miss Universe Philippines Pia Wurtzbach takes questions from Facebook users
Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach took over the official Miss Universe Facebook page on Wednesday morning, as part of the pageant's drive to increase the participation of fans in the competition.
Aside from this chance to "ask a beauty queen" on social media, Facebook users were also encouraged to be a part of the coronation night by suggesting a Final Question for the contestants. Fans can also vote for their favorite candidate online.
Pia Wurtzbach got a bit of practice for the Q and A segment by responding to the comments on Facebook:

More than myself? I wouldn't join Miss Universe if I thought somebody else deserved it more than I do. I mean, that's why we are all here, right? We're here to win. And to doubt myself is to doubt the decision of the judges for choosing me as the winner. Being a Miss Universe is a responsibility more than anything else. If you're chosen as the winner, don't doubt it. It's your destiny!
