Former Miss Teen USA speaks about Donald Trump: 'I was told he doesn't like black people'
Aformer Miss Teen USA winner has warned Americans not to vote for Donald Trump while opening up about her experience meeting him.
Kamie Crawford won the pageant in 2010, when Donald Trump owned Miss Teen USA.
She was 17 when she first met Mr Trump, and was allegedly pre-warned that the Republican nominee for president "doesn't like black people".
The 23-year-old claimed: "As the first WOC (women of color) to win the title in almost a decade - I was forewarned prior to meeting him that, 'Mr Trump doesn't like black people. So don't take it the wrong way if he isn't extremely welcoming towards you. If he is, then you must be the type of black he likes'.
"Needless to say, I was totally caught off guard and super nervous because this is supposed to be my boss I'm meeting - and he might not like me already".
Ms Crawford, now a television presenter, said she saw him "in action" while interacting with another woman of colour.
She said: "Sure enough after I was warned about him, I saw him in action and witnessed him completely snub a black contestant at Miss Universe rehearsals while she was practicing on stage.
"Literally turned his back to the stage and made a face like he was going to vomit at the sight of her."
She said this made her worried about his reaction to her - but then realised she was the "kind of black girl he liked".
Ms Crawford wrote: "Luckily for me - I was the 'type' of black he liked. He toted me around his buddies who were all there gawking at the Miss Universe girls.
"Bragged about how 'beautiful' and 'well spoken' I was. 'She's so smart, look how smart she is' he kept saying. Mind you, baby boy just met me".
The beauty pageant winner said she was "over the moon" about this at the time, but in hindsight "there was nothing to be excited about".
She elaborated: "This man is running for president of a country with ALL 'types' of black.
"And honey, if you ain't his 'type', I don't know what to tell you. But I will say this -VOTE on November 8th if you don't wanna find out what his "type" isn't."
However, she said she had not seen him be "predatory in the traditional sense" to the teen girls, responding to allegations from other teen contestants that the presidential candidate went into their dressing rooms while they were undressed.
She wrote: "I don't have any personal experiences with him being predatory in the traditional sense - but he definitely used his power to lure girls in."
The ex-Miss Teen USA said she isn't part of a political party - but will in this election be voting for Hillary Clinton.
