MISS USA PAGEANT: I was the first to break the news that the Miss USA Pageant would return here June 5 on Fox. I hinted that it would return to Planet Hollywood after two years in Baton Rouge, La. I can now confirm, as insiders told me Wednesday night, that it is about to be officially announced.

There were oddball rumors that the contestants would be housed at MGM Grand with the pageant at T-Mobile Arena, but I’m told “for certain it’s a Planet Hollywood deal.” Olivia Jordan of Oklahoma, who finished second runner-up at the 2015 Miss Universe Pageant at Planet Hollywood in December, crowns her successor at the end of the telecast.

Gorgeous 24-year-old Emelina Adams of Henderson won the Miss Nevada Pageant last fall and represent our Silver State against 51 ladies, including the first-ever nationwide search for a 52nd contestant: “No matter your size, shape and background, this is your chance to show the world what makes you beautiful,” said Olivia about the entry.
