Clarksville, Tenn. – It’s just a matter of days before Miss Tennessee USA 2016, Hope Stephens, 20, makes her way to Las Vegas to compete for the title of Miss USA 2016.
The 65th annual Miss USA pageant will be telecast live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 5 at 8/7c on Fox.
Hope Stephens is a 20-year-old from Livingston, Tennessee. She is a sophomore at Tennessee Tech University where she majors in Fashion Design. Hope’s plan is to build a career around her love for fashion and travel both nationally and internationally in an effort to stay up to date on global fashion trends. In a perfect setting, she would merge her love and knowledge of fashion and become a stylist or fashion journalist.
In Hope’s spare time, she enjoys volunteering for her personal platform: Drug Abuse Awareness. Hope was confronted with this issue as a young child due to her father's addiction to drugs. She had to deal with the hardships that drug addiction can cause to a family. To ensure that no child ever has to witness a loved one battle addiction, she created a program called Healing Hearts: Drug Abuse Awareness and Prevention where she plans to speak across the state sharing her story and urging all to stay drug free.
