Former Miss New Jersey turned comedian Dena Blizzard of Moorestown is one of five finalists with a chance to co-host "Live with Kelly" for a day.
Kelly Ripa, host of ABC's "Live with Kelly," revealed the top five (click here for a sampling) on her show Friday, and Blizzard and her competition will undergo on-air interviews with Ripa and her guest co-host for the week, weatherman Sam Champion, plus challenges starting Monday. The public will be voting for the winner, who will get his or her day in the spotlight on Oct. 21.

Three other New Jerseyans made the top 20 but were eliminated earlier this week: Stephan Zimkin of Plainfield, Buki Elegbede of Newark, and Josh Trovato, a chef who competed on "Hell's Kitchen" last year and is originally from Audubon.
Blizzard gained viral fame early in the summer when her Pokemon Go parody video, titled "Chardonnay Go," proved a big hit online.
Of course, Ripa is still on the hunt for a full-time co-host. Former Giant Michael Strahan, Ripa's previous co-host, left the show in May after ABC announced that he would be moving to "Good Morning America" — and sparked the wrath of Ripa by not telling her about the move much in advance of the announcement.
In the interim, Ripa has shared the set with Neil Patrick Harris, Andy Cohen, Anderson Cooper, Jimmy Kimmel, Seal, Jerry O'Connell, and Jussie Smollett, among others. The highest-rated among the co-hosts was Jimmy Kimmel, according to thewrap.com, but he's got his hands full hosting "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," Next comes Smollett, who stars in "Empire," and Cedric the Entertainer.
