Wichita native wins way into Miss USA pageant

Alexandra Miller, 26, is a Wichita State University graduate who currently works as a model and technical recruiter in Oklahoma City. She won a first-of-its-kind "Finding Miss 52" vote online, to add an extra contestant to the winners of state and Washington, D.C. pageants.WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -- Kansas indirectly received a second entry in the Miss USA Pageant this week, as a Wichita native was voted in through a nationwide vote.
Miller has been first runner-up at Miss Oklahoma USA twice. She'll join Miss Kansas USA Victoria Wiggins of Junction City at the Las Vegas pageant. The next Miss USA will be crowned June 4.
