Roanoke to host 81st Miss Virginia Pageant on June 23-25
ROANOKE (WSLS 10) – The Berglund Center is set to host the 81st Miss Virginia Scholarship Program this June.
The event will be held from June 23-25 and tickets go on-sale starting Wednesday, June 1 at 10 a.m. They can be purchased by either visiting HomeTownBankTix.com or calling 1-877-482-8496.
Beginning June 19, 27 women from across Virginia will arrive in the Star City for a week of appearances, rehearsals and competitions leading up to Saturday night’s crowning of Miss Virginia.
More than $350,000 in cash and in-kind scholarship to colleges and universities are available to this year’s contestants, along with several other prizes from area businesses and private donors.
Tickets cost either $40 or $50.
