Mireia Lalaguna, Miss World 2015 Reaches Indonesia for Miss World Indonesia 2016

The reigning Miss World, Mireia Lalaguna Royo arrived in Jakarta on 22^ndFebruary 2016. The gorgeous diva landed in Indonesia at 3:45 PM through Emirates. The queen of world was found donning a white shirt and red blazer. Mireia was beaming with glow and grace as she met the Indonesian media.

While talking to the paparazzi Mireia revealed that this is her first visit to Indonesia and she is looking forward to most of it. She is extremely excited to unlock all the mysteries and adventures that Indonesia beholds.

The 23 years old, first Spanish Miss World added: “This is my first visit to Indonesia. I feel happy to come to this country.” The shutterbugs surrounded the queen to capture her single glimpse at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang, on Monday evening.

Mireia will be a special guest of honor at the coronation eve of Miss Indonesia 2016. The event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 24^th February 2016 at the RCTI Studio 14 at 20:30 pm as per Indonesia’s standard time.

The Miss World Indonesia 2016 contestants along with the estemeed National Director, Liliana Tanoesoedibjo will be greeting the reigning Miss World today at a press conference, wherein the Indonesian media will have a chance to interact with the exquisite Spanish beauty.

It is not the first time when the reigning Miss World has attended the grand finale of Miss Indonesia. Last year Rolene Strauss crowned Maria Harfanti, who later went on to bag Indonesia’s highest placement at Miss World by bagging the second runner up position at Miss World 2015. While in 2014, Megan Young was there to perceive Maria Asteria Sastrayu Rahajeng’s crowning. In 2013, Wenxia Yu witnessed Vania Larissa’s crowning as Miss Indonesia, who later won the talent contest at Miss World 2013.

Mireia Lalaguna also said: “It will be great to see a new part of the world, to feel some winter sunshine, and to see Maria (Miss Indonesia 2015) again. I’ve always wanted to visit Indonesia and now is my chance. Jakarta here I come!”

As per sources, Mireia will also extend her stay after Miss Indonesia grand finale. This year 34 contestants will be competing in the 12th edition of the national competition, with several preliminary stages taking place in recent days, including a sports and fitness round. The finale will be broadcast live from the RCTI studios in Jakarta on February 24, from 20:30pm onwards.
