LOOK: Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach dances with Broncos cheerleaders
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach can now add “cheerleader” as one of her many hats.
The reigning Miss Universe danced with the Broncos Cheerleaders, the Denver Broncos’ official cheer leading squad, in an early morning practice on Friday, February 5.
Pia also had a group photo with the cheerleaders, saying “I’ve got a really big team.”
The Filipina beauty queen will be reporting for the Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara, California alongside Megan Alexander as special correspondents for the US TV show “Inside Edition”.
Pia began her reporting duties last February 1 and will continue reporting until game day on Sunday, February 7.
The two girls will cover all the Super Bowl events, exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes previews, and the game itself.
Also to watch out for in the Super Bowl is one of Denver Broncos’ players who happens to be quarter-Filipino.
Jordan Norwood, who was born in Hawaii to a half-Filipina mother, plays the wide receiver position for the Broncos. Jordan’s older brother Gabe is a basketball player for the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).
Super Bowl games are the most-watched programs in US television history.
2016′s Super Bowl game is between the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos, the 50th since its inaugural in 1967.
Super Bowl 50 is set on Sunday, February 7, at 6:30 pm EST (Monday, February 8 at 7:30 am in the Philippines) at the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
In a separate post on her personal Instagram account @PiaWurtzbach, Pia reposted a photo by Fadil Berisha. Berisha is an Albanian-American who is the official photographer of Miss Universe, Miss USA, and Rolex.
Berisha captured the different faces of Pia and shared the collage photo on his Instagram. The photographer described Pia using the hashtags “ #clean #natural #beauty.”
