Miss Louisiana USA, Miss Louisiana Teen USA 2017 to be crowned Saturday

The newest Miss Louisiana USA and Miss Louisiana USA will be crowned Saturday (Oct. 8) following pageant finals that night. The winners will go on to compete at their corresponding national editions next year: Miss USA and Miss Teen USA. 

Preliminaries will take place Friday, and both events will be hosted at the Jefferson Performing Arts Center in Metairie. 

Crowning the new winners will be the current titleholders: Miss Louisiana USA Maaliyah Papillion, who recently competed at Miss USA, and Miss Louisiana Teen USA Ellie Picone, who placed in the top 15 at the national pageant. 

The pageant and preliminaries will stream live online, and they can be watched through PageantsLive.com.

For those hoping to attend in person, tickets for both events can be purchased online through TicketForce. Individual tickets for each begin at $40, plus applicable fees.
