Caitlin Cifuentes appeared in court Wednesday for a probation review.

CORPUS CHRISTI -
"Miss Cifuentes?  Miss Cifuentes?  I'm wondering why you've spoken with other media, but you haven't spoken with me? Can you answer that question for me?"
That conversation with Caitlin Cifuentes took place just minutes after her probation review in the 94th District Court this afternoon.
Just hours after her court appearance, this post appeared on her Facebook page. 'Judges orders, I am now jobless effective immediately!!!! I have worked at Murdocks for four-and-a-half years!'
While in court Wednesday afternoon, Cifuentes' parole officer, Sybil Tipton, told Judge Bobby Galvan that Cifuentes may have violated her probation.
The judge went over some of the conditions of Cifuentes' probation.  For example, she can't be at a bar or work at a bar.  And she can't drink. Judge Galvan offered Tipton an opportunity to file a motion to revoke Cifuentes' probation, but she did not.
Action Ten News first broke this story June 29th.
Cifuentes had been crowned Miss Corpus Christi Latina, then dethroned by the pageant's national organization last week!
Now, 6 pageant contestants are suing the pageant's local director, claiming Cifuentes violated the pageant's contract which states contestants with a criminal record are ineligible.
According to the lawsuit, Cifuentes is currently serving a ten-year deferred adjudication sentence for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and a one-year probation sentence for DWI.
Once her probation review was over, we approached her for a comment about the pageant.  Remember, we've offered her and pageant director Kayla Alvarez multiple opportunities to give us their side of the pageant story.
"We've given you and Miss Alvarez like 2 or 3 chances to give us your side of this story about the pageant, and you haven't even responded to us."
"I don't think we're harassing you. We're giving you an opportunity here."  "This isn't an opportunity."
Also in her Facebook post, Cifuentes wrote about her court appearance saying 'my hearing today was not public record.' But if you log onto the Nueces County Court Calendar for July 20th, you see that Caitlin Cifuentes was scheduled for a probation review in the 94th District Court.
Now even though Cifuentes nor Alvarez have been willing to speak with us we will continue to report on new developments in this story.
