Designer star Lilja Debuts a Brand-New Look for the Miss Universe contest in Iceland

The Icelandic design star celebrated a successful kickoff to Iceland’s first Miss Universe pageant with a head-turning golden goddess look in Reykjavik on Monday. Sigrun Lilja Gudjonsdottir, known simply as Lilja, who was one of the pageant sponsors recently launched her new collection of Gydja watch of the year, a firm favourite of the Kardashian sisters. 

As we can see Lilja has upped her game with a fresh new look wearing a golden dress open in the front with see-through lace, paired with strappy golden heels and long black hair.

The 34-year-old added an edge of drama with a long black wig, but her look wouldn't be complete without the signature eco friendly Halla clutch from her own label Gydja collection that she's been rocking lately.

As for Lilja’s makeup and outfit the Icelandic goddess worked with makeup artist, Lilja Thorvardardottir as Krom Online shared.

Dress maker, Selma Ragnarsdottir made the golden goddess dress and her go to hairstylist, Begga took care of her hair.

Lilja was in good company as the Icelandic event was star studded with celebrities from all over the world including model and former beauty queen, Lisa Opie and actor Daniel Booko to name a few.

The judging panel for the pageant included Desperate Housewives actors, Shawn Pyfrom and Cody Kasch, and the head judge was former Miss Usa, Nia Sanchez.

The winner of the night was the Icelandic beauty, Hildur Maria Leifsdottir, who was crowned Miss Universe Iceland and will be competing in the Miss Universe pageant, 2017 in the Philippines.
