Miss Maui Teen Becomes 1st to Win Miss Hawaiʻi Teen USA Title

For the first time ever Miss Maui Teen has won the Miss Hawaii Teen USA 2016 title. Joahnnalee Ucol now advances to compete in the Miss Teen USA scholarship pageant in the  Bahamas this summer.

Ucol is a junior at Maui High School and is the daughter of Juliette Ucol of Kahului.  She was also a former Miss Haleakalā Outstanding Teen 2014.

Ucol was mentored by Mrs Hawaiʻi 2015,Caroline Absalom, and Arman Lat.

Ucol’s flowing yellow evening gown, was design by Maui’s own Koa Johnson.
