Pia Wurtzbach feels honored to see PNoy after Miss Universe win

MANILA, Philippines - Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach paid a courtesy call to President Benigno Aquino III at the Malacañang Palace on Tuesday.
Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. chair Stella Marquez-Araneta and Miss Universe president Paula Shugart accompanied Pia during the visit.
Aquino and Wurtzbach were reported to have dated shortly after the 26-year-old beauty queen won the Miss Universe-Philippine title last year.
However, Pia denied the rumors, saying she and Aquino are just friends.
Well, he congratulated me. And we talked about Miss Universe for a little bit," Pia said asked when asked by Palace reporters what she and PNoy talked about during her Palace visit. "Also, with what he's been busy with lately. How he's been doing, how I've been doing. And he congratulated me. And I congratulated him for a successful term."
She said "it is an honor to be in the presence of the president, of course."
"Especially now that I'm here as Miss Universe, bringing back home the crown for the Filipino," Pia added.
During her news conference on Sunday, Pia said she is currently single.
"Tignan mo, kahit na Miss Universe ka, pwede ka pa ring maging sawi," Pia quipped, adding her crown is her boyfriend.
