Though it's more than a week until the new Miss America will be crowned, contestants started gearing up for the pageant with rehearsals at Boardwalk Hall.
Preliminary competitions will take place Sept. 6 through Sept. 8, and Miss America 2017 will be crowned on Sept. 11 from 52 contestants.
