As we get ready to cover the 2017 Miss America pageant in Atlantic City Sunday, here's a look at all the awards that have been given out so far at Boardwalk Hall.
Up until now, the pageant has been dominated by the South and the East Coast, with the exception of Ohio and Michigan. It's anyone's guess which contestants will make the top group that gets to compete on live television, but we'll find out at the start of the broadcast.
For a look at all 52 contestants, their talents and pageant platforms, see our gallery here

Talent

($2,000 scholarship, 30 percent of final score if they make the cut for the televised competition)
  • Miss Arkansas, Savvy Shields (jazz dance — "They Just Keep Moving the Line" from "Smash.")
  • Miss Michigan, Arianna Quan (classical piano — "The Lark" by Glinka)
  • Miss Tennessee, Grace Burgess (vocal performance — "Desperado" by the Eagles)

Lifestyle and Fitness in Swimsuit

($1,000 scholarship, 10 percent of final score if they make the cut for the televised competition)

Other scholarships

  • One to watch, because she claimed not one but two other major scholarships — the Quality of Life community service award ($6,000) and the S.T.E.M. award ($5,000) — is Miss Alabama, Hayley Barber.
The 2017 Miss America pageant airs 9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11 on ABC. Follow along with our live updates at nj.com/entertainment.
