Here are the Miss Maui USA and Miss Maui Teen USA pageant winners

Just wanted to update you on all things beauty pageant. See, the fourth Miss Maui USA and Miss Maui Teen USA pageant took place Sunday, Aug. 28 at the Iao Theater in Wailuku. Six women were chosen to represent Maui at the Miss Hawaii USA and Miss Hawaii Teen USA pageants, which will take place on Sunday, Nov. 6 on Oahu.

Anyway, here are the winners:

Miss Makena USA 2017 – Kristina Duarte
Miss Valley Isle USA 2017 – Aisha Rabanal
Miss Maui USA 2017 – Joylene Nina Tabon
Miss Maui Teen USA 2017 – Kristen Jones
Miss Valley Isle Teen USA 2017 – Maluhia Duro
Miss Makena Teen USA 2017 – Kawena Kan-Hai

“The winners of the state pageants advance to the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants, respectively,” pageant co-director Caroline Absalom (Mrs. Hawaii 2015) told us. “Miss USA will compete at the Miss Universe pageant.”

Oh, and the reigning Miss Hawaii Teen USA is Joahnnalee Ucol, the first Miss Maui Teen USA to win the state title.

And yes, in case you were wondering, the Miss Teen USA, Miss USA, Miss Universe pageants are owned by IMG, which was formerly owned by Donald Trump.
