“I build self-confidence through my perseverance in chasing my dreams no matter the obstacles that lie in my path. This was evident in my pursuit of the title of Miss NC USA, as it took me 5 tries to eventually win the crown, as well as in my long journey toward being signed by one of the top international modeling agencies. Not giving up on my dreams until they are achieved gives me the self confidence that I can become anything I set my goals on.”

India Williams is a 20-year-old college student from Lafayette, Louisiana. She now lives in Santa Monica, California and goes to Loyola Marymount University. Williams is a student, who has been on the Dean’s List at Loyola Marymount University. She is studying for her Bachelor of Arts in Business Entrepreneurship and later wants to pursue a degree in entertainment contract law.
India Williams is a part-time model and competed in the Miss Teen California USA pageant in 2015. She was also a semi-finalist at the Miss Teen California in 2014. As Miss Santa Monica, Williams competed against 127 other women to win the title of Miss California USA 2017.
When not at school, Williams volunteers with a program called The Incubator School and works in close collaboration with The Samburu Project to provide clean and safe drinking water to communities in Kenya.
