BEAUTY AND BRAINS: Carina has now secured a position as a junior medic in Oxford

Carina Tyrrell graduated from Cambridge University at the weekend.

Now she has secured a position as a junior medic in Oxford.

The 26-year-old was awarded a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery after studying for six years.

She said: “I’m really thrilled to have got my degree and looking forward to starting my job as a doctor.”

Carina won Miss England in 2014 and came in the top five at Miss World later that year.

She has been juggling her studies at Murray Edwards College with shifts at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.

Carina will now become a medic at John Radcliffe Hospital.
