The first runner-up of Puteri Indonesia 2016 Felicia Hwang won third place at the Miss International 2016 pageant held at the Tokyo Dome City Hall, Japan, on Thursday.
Finishing behind the pageant winner Miss Philippines Kylie Versoza and first runner-up Miss Australia Alexandra Britton, Felicia also took home the award for Miss Best Dresser. Other winners in the pageant are Miss Nicaragua, who finished as third runner-up and Miss United States as the fourth.
Having competed against 69 other contestants, Felicia underwent a quarantine in Tokyo since early October. As reported by Rappler, the 24-year-old graduated from Bradford University with an honors degree in finance and accounting and once worked for the UOB Bank in Singapore. Having lived in Singapore for nine years, Felicia is fluent in Mandarin.
Felicia’s accomplishment came only a day after Miss Indonesia Ariska Putri Pertiwi was crowned Miss Grand International 2016 in Las Vegas. (mra/kes)
