Cloie Syquia Skarne wins Miss Earth Sweden

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – Cloie Syquia Skarne, the half-sister of actress KC Concepcion, is Sweden's representative to the Miss Earth pageant in October.
Cloie was crowned Miss Earth Sweden on Sunday, August 28 (Monday, August 29 in Manila), during the Miss Universe Sweden competition. Makeup artist Au Mauricio, who was at the event, posted a photo of Cloie's winning moment.
"Our [Cloie Syquia] is Miss Earth Sweden!!! She'll be competing globally in October. Congratulations Cloie!!!" Au said.
Au also posted a photo and video of Cloie during the competition.
On Instagram, Cloie thanked everyone for supporting her journey in the pageant.
"I'm MISS EARTH SWEDEN 2016! Thank you to those who have supported me and believed in me. I would not have been who I am today without you," she said.
KC posted a short message for her sister on Twitter.
"Her childhood dream has finally come true! Congratulations to my sister [Cloie Syquia Skarne] = MISS EARTH Sweden!"

Meanwhile, Ida Ovmar was crowned as Miss Universe Sweden, according to a post by the Miss Universe Sweden pageant host and Miss Earth Sweden 2014 Frida Fornander.
