Miss World 2015, Mireia Lalaguna and Miss Indonesia 2015, Maria Harfanti at a Press Event

While Miss World Indonesia is only few hours far, the reigning Miss World, Mireia Lalaguna and her second runner up, Maria Harfanti, who was also Continental Queen of Asia at Miss World 2015, attended a press conference in Indonesia prior to a day before the Miss Indonesia 2016 finale.

The coronation eve of Miss Indonesia 2016 will take place today, Wednesday, February 24^th 2016 and will be broadcast live by RCTI.

Housed in Global TV road Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta the press conference was held on Tuesday, 23^rd February 2016, wherein along with Miss World 2015, Mireia Lalaguna, gracing the media event was also Liliana Tanoesodibjo, the esteemed chairwoman of the Miss Indonesia, Maria Harfanti, Miss Indonesia 2015 and Steve Douglas, Miss World Organization Stage Director.

The suave event commenced as Miss World 2015, Mireia Lalaguna described her emotions and experiences about her visit to Indonesia. Mireia added that in addition to attending the final night of Miss Indonesia 2016, she also wants to support the finalists who are in a period of quarantine.

Mireia narrated that this is her first visit to Indonesia. She revealed that when she got to learn about her trip to Indonesia, she was extremely excited that she will now experience the firsthand emotions about the beauty that Indonesia beholds. Mireia added that she was exhilarated to explore the provinces of Bali, also indulging in surfing.

During her four days visit, Mireia is absolutely enjoying the Indonesian food and delicacies, her favorite being soto, satay and gado-gado.

At the press conference, the Miss World Organization Stage Director, Steve Douglas Morley revealed that after completing her post as Miss Indonesia 2015, Maria Harfanti will start her obligations as Miss World Asia 2015. As per Steve, Julia Morley has scheduled a visit of Mireia to Korea in forthcoming days.

Meanwhile when asked about introducing new crowns in Miss Indonesia, Liliana Tanoesodibjo, the Chairwoman of the Miss Indonesia, confirmed that this year the winner will be wearing the new crown.
